Description
Porcine Thyroid Epithelial Cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from thyroid tissue of porcine. Porcine Thyroid Epithelial Cells are grown in a T25 tissue culture flask pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution for 2 min and incubated in Creative Bioarray’s Culture Complete Growth Medium for 3-5 days. Cells are detached from flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen. Cells can be expanded for 3-7 passages at a split ratio of 1:2 under the cell culture conditions specified by Creative Bioarray. Repeated freezing and thawing of cells is not recommended.

What should be noted in the transmission of primary cultures?

Do not rush to pass the cells until they have grown enough to cover most of the surface of the bottom wall of the flask; cells in primary culture are mostly mixed growth, and different cells have different digestion times, so pay attention to timely processing according to the need, and isolate and purify the cells needed according to the tolerance time of different cells to trypsin; The cells should be blown gently to minimize the damage to the cells; the number of cells should be inoculated more during the passaging, so that the cells can adapt to the new environment as soon as possible to facilitate cell survival and value-added; the tissue pieces shed with the digestion and separation can also be passed into the new culture bottle.
