Sjögren's Syndrome Model
Sjögren's syndrome (SS) is a complex and chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by lymphocytic infiltration and inflammation of the lacrimal glands (LG) and salivary glands. It has several typical clinical symptoms, including dry eye, dry mouth, dysphagia, as well as itch and burning sensation in eyes. In addition, dry eye is related to corneal injury and recurrent eye infections that may induce devastating consequences like loss of vision. The non-obese diabetic (NOD) mouse is a useful model for sjögren's syndrome research. And sjögren's syndrome is more pronounced in male mice than that in female. Creative Bioarray focuses on drug research and development services and helps customers evaluate novel therapeutic interventions against Sjögren's syndrome and study basic mechanism of primary Sjögren's syndrome (SS).

Sjögren's syndrome model includes but not limited to:
NOD mouse model
Application
- Primary Sjögren's syndrome
Our capabilities
- We evaluate the effect of drug candidates on LG inflammation, conjunctival Inflammation, etc. by H&E staining and flow cytometry.
- We conduct Lacrimal gland or salivary gland function assessment to test drug efficacy.
- We isolate and identify T cell subsets from spleen or lacrimal glands.
Assays available
- Histopathology
- Collection and measurement of saliva and tear
- Flow cytometry
With extensive experience in the field of Sjögren's syndrome, we are confident to help you to overcome any upcoming challenges. Our experts are fully capable of customizing our protocols and assays to meet your specific needs. With our help, we wish to facilitate your research with high efficiency.
