Description
Bone Marrow is obtained from adult Myelodysplastic Syndrome patients. Bone Marrow-Mononuclear Cells are isolated by diluting the bone marrow with phosphate-buffered saline and using gradient separation techniques. After centrifugation,the Mononuclear Cells layer is collected. Mononuclear Cells can be processed further to isolate cell subpopulations. Myelodysplastic Syndrome-Mononuclear Cells are available in the newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory stages.

How are you characterizing mononuclear cells?

The mononuclear cells are characterized for CD markers using flow cytometry. The positive markers used are CD34 and CD45; while the negative markers used are CD105. Creative Bioarray ensures that each batch of mononuclear cells is more than or equal to 90% positive for specific markers.
