Description
The peritoneum refers to a layer of serosa in the abdominal cavity of vertebrates, mainly composed of mesothelial and connective tissue. Peritoneal mesothelial cells are the main cell population constituting the peritoneum and can secrete a variety of cytokines.
Rabbit peritoneal mesothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit peritoneal tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit peritoneal mesothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit peritoneal mesothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin or keratin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
