Human hypertension pulmonary vein smooth muscle cells are isolated from the pulmonary vein of human donor that has been diagnosed with hypertension. Human hypertension pulmonary vein smooth muscle cells are grown in T25 tissue culture flasks pre-coated with gelatin-based coating solution for 2 min and incubated in complete growth medium generally for 3-7 days. Prior to shipping, cells at passage 1 are detached from the culture flasks and immediately cryo-preserved in vials. Each vial contains at least 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.

What if the primary cells have more red blood cells? Do I need erythrocyte lysate?

If there are more red blood cells in the early stage of isolation, they can be separated with Lymphocyte Separation Solution or Percoll Separation Solution, or treated with Lysis Solution.
