Description
NPB-Monocyte Derived Myeloid Dendritic Cells (MoDC) are derived from highly purified monocytes. For six to seven days, the highly purified monocytes are cultured with 10% FBS in the presence of GM-CSF and IL-4. MoDC have a longer lifespan in vitro when kept inactivated, which allows them to have a longer storage in culture. These cells express the following markers: CD11c, CD40, CD80, and CD86 (<90%). These cells lack the expression of CD14 (<10%).
