Description
Diseased Human Epidermal Keratinocytes (D-HEK) are isolated from human donors that have been diagnosed with diabetes type II disease. Further donor information, including medications, BMI, and disease duration may be obtained by contacting Scientific Support. Diseased cells are grown in the same optimized media system as Clonetics™ Normal Human Keratinocytes. |
Cryopreserved Normal Human Epidermal Keratinocytes are guaranteed through 18 population doublings for adult cells and 20 population doublings for neonatal cells. All cells test negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C are not detected for all donors and/or cell lots.
