What is recovered plasma?

The clear liquid portion removed from a unit of whole blood containing an anticoagulant such as: ACD, CPD, CPDA-1, EDTA, HEPARIN, SODIUM CITRATE (or others). Average size per unit is 225 to 250 mls. . It is generally stored at room temperature or under refrigerated temps. It could be frozen.

Can we custom orders?

Human blood plasma is available as either a fresh sample or cryopreserved through custom requests and utilizes any commercially available collection tube with anticoagulant meeting your specifications. Cryopreserved disease-state serum samples are also available. Fresh plasma should be used immediately or refrigerated upon receipt. For cryopreserved plasma, storage at -80°C is acceptable.
