Description
The outer root sheath is an extension of the epidermal basal layer which envelopes the entire hair follicle. It is the basal and spinous cell layer of the epidermis and consists of several layers of unpigmented cells.
Rabbit outer root sheath cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit skin tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit outer root sheath cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit outer root sheath cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratin-19 (CK-19). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
