Description
The cervix is the lower, narrow end of the uterus that forms a canal between the uterus and vagina. The upper cervix (endocervix) is lined by a simple columnar epithelium that contains mucous-secreting cells. In contrast, the lower cervix (ectocervix) is lined by a stratified squamous epithelium.
Rabbit cervical epithelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit uterine tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit cervical epithelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit cervical epithelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to pan-cytokeratin (PCK). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
