Description
The ureter is a tube that carries urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder. Urine passes through the ureter from the kidneys to the bladder. The wall of the ureter consists of three layers. The outer layer, the fibrous coat, is a supporting layer of fibrous connective tissue.
Rat Ureteral Fibroblasts (rUFs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat ureteral tissue. The method we use to isolate rUFs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rUFs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vimentin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
