Description
Pulmonary macrophages form a heterogeneous population of immune cells that fulfil a variety of specialised functions, including maintenance of pulmonary homoeostasis, removal of cellular debris, immune surveillance, microbial clearance, responses to infection and the resolution of inflammation.
Rat Pulmonary Macrophage Cells (rPMCs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the lung tissue of rats. The method we use to isolate renal collecting duct epthelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rPAAFs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD68 or MAC387.
