Rat Ovarian Interstitial Cells (rOICs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat ovarian tissue. The method we use to isolate rOICs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rOICs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cholesterol side-chain cleavage enzyme (P450scc). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.

Cryopreserved cells are suitable for a variety of assays including induction, toxicity, drug metabolism and systems biology. Both adherent and suspension cells are available.
