CSC-C5029S
Description
The jugular vein is present in the neck of vertebrates. The vascular endothelial cell layer is a natural barrier to blood and other tissues. Endothelial cells secrete antithrombotic factors such as t-PA and PAI-1. After being regulated by TNF-α, it secretes cytokine GM-CSF, expresses ICAM-1 surface antibody, and produces nitric oxide and endothelin.
Rat Jugular Vein Endothelial Cells (rJVECs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat jugular vein tissue. The method we use to isolate rJVECs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rJVECs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to PECAM-1/CD31 or von Willebrand factor (vWF). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
