Description
Coronary arteries are the arteries that supply blood to the heart. They originate from the root of the aorta and are divided into left and right branches. A major factor in the development and progression of coronary artery disease is the transformation of vascular smooth muscle cells into a reproductive phenotype.
Rat Coronary Artery Smooth Muscle Cells (rCASMCs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat heart tissue. The method we use to isolate renal collecting duct epthelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rCASMCs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to α-SMA. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
