Description
The granulosa cell (GC) is a critical somatic component of the ovary. It is essential for follicle development by supporting the developing oocyte, proliferating and producing sex steroids and disparate growth factors.
Rat Ovarian Granulosa Cells (rOGCs) from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rat ovarian tissue. The method we use to isolate rOGCs was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rOGCs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
