Description
Monocytes in blood are derived from myeloid stem cells differentiated from bone marrow stem cells and are an important part of the body's defense system. Monocytes can phagocytose foreign substances and play an important role in healing the body's damage, resisting the invasion of pathogens and immunizing against diseases. Inflammation or other diseases can cause changes in the number of monocytes.
Rabbit monocytes from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit peripheral blood. The method we use to isolate rabbit monocytes was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit monocytes are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to MO-1 or MO-2.
