Description
The cerebral arteries distributing flow from the circle of Willis continuously branch into smaller arteries and arterioles that course along the surface of the brain. Smooth muscle cells are a critical component of the vascular and are important in regulating cerebral blood flow and blood-brain barrier integrity.
Rabbit cerebral artery smooth muscle cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit aortic tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit cerebral artery smooth muscle cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit cerebral artery smooth muscle cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to α-SMA. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
