Description
The cavernous endothelial cells are a kind of endothelial cells lining the inner surface of the cavernous sinus of the penis. They are one of the most basic components of the cavernous sinus and the blood vessels of the penis. It has various physiological functions such as synthesizing vasodilation and contraction factors, forming vascular walls, participating in the exchange of blood and tissue fluid components, and playing an important role in penile erection.
Rabbit cavernous endothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit penis tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit cavernous endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit cavernous endothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to von Willebrand factor (vWF). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
