Description
Adipocytes are the cells that primarily compose adipose tissue. They are derived from mesenchymal stem cells which give rise to adipocytes through adipogenesis. Adipocytes are the major energy storage sites in the body, and they also have critical endocrine functions.
Rabbit adipocytes from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the rabbit adipose tissue. The method we use to isolate rabbit adipocytes was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The rabbit adipocytes are characterized by oil red O staining. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
