Description
The ureter is a tube that carries urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder. Urine passes through the ureter from the kidneys to the bladder. The ureteral wall is divided into 4 layers: the mucosal surface, the lamina propria, the muscularis, and the adventitia. Among them, the muscularis is mainly composed of inner longitudinal and outer annular smooth muscle.
Mouse ureter smooth muscle cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse ureteral tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse ureter smooth muscle cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse ureter smooth muscle cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to α-SMA. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
