Description
Mesenteric cells in the glomerulus can secret cell matrix, producing cytokines, phagocytosis and clearance of macromolecular substances and contraction of smooth muscle cells. At the same time, they also can produce and degrade extracellular matrix, participate in the repair and renewal of mesangial matrix and glomerular basement membrane, playing an important role in glomerular physiological functions.
Mouse mesangial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse renal tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse mesangial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse mesangial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to desmin. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
