Description
The jugular vein is present in the neck of vertebrates. The vascular endothelial cell layer is a natural barrier to blood and other tissues. Endothelial cells secrete antithrombotic factors such as t-PA and PAI-1. After being regulated by TNF-α, it secretes cytokine GM-CSF, expresses ICAM-1 surface antibody, and produces nitric oxide and endothelin.
Mouse jugular vein endothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse jugular vein tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse jugular vein endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse jugular vein endothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to PECAM-1/CD31 or von Willebrand factor (vWF). Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.
