Description
The intraperitoneal aorta is the largest artery in the abdominal cavity. As part of the aorta, it is a direct continuation of the descending aorta. Intraperitoneal aortic endothelial cells participate in the formation of the inner wall of the aorta and are continuously subjected to shear stress from blood flow. Endothelial cells secrete various endothelial factors and influence the constriction and growth of blood vessels.
Mouse intraperitoneal aortic endothelial cells from Creative Bioarray are isolated from the mouse abdominal aorta tissue. The method we use to isolate mouse intraperitoneal aortic endothelial cells was developed based on a combination of established and our proprietary methods. The mouse intraperitoneal aortic endothelial cells are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to PECAM-1/CD31. Each vial contains 0.5x10^6 cells per ml and is delivered frozen.

Storage and Shipping
Creative Bioarray ships frozen cells on dry ice. On receipt, immediately transfer frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C) until ready for experimental use. Never can cells be kept at -20 °C.
