CSC-I9190L
Description
The human adrenal cortex plays an important role in regulating the endocrine system by secreting glucocorticoids, mineralcorticoids and adrenal androgens in response to environmental stimulation. The Immortalized Human Adrenocorticol Cells- hTERT is established from primary cells (isolated from a healthy kidney donor) using retrovirus carrying hTERT gene. These cells are useful in studies involving the biochemical and molecular mechanisms associated with adrenal steroidogenesis and adrenal physiology.
