SuperBeads® Human CD14 Cell Isolation Kit
- Specification
Cat.No.
CSK-CI002
Description
Monocytes are found in the circulating peripheral blood where they make up 10-20% of the total mononuclear cell population. Monocytes are characterized by their phenotypic expression of CD14, and thus, are commonly called CD14+ monocytes. They play an important role in host defense as circulating monocytes and differentiation into tissue macrophages, and can differentiate into dendritic cells with potent antigen-presenting capability. Use SuperBeads® Human CD14 Cell Selection Kit to enrich viable Human CD14 Cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells samples by immunomagnetic positive selection. It may also be used for the depletion of CD14+ cells. CD14+ cells are bound by antibody and then magnetic SuperBeads.
