Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplantation-Induced GvHD Model
Creative Bioarray has established a Graft-versus-host Disease (GvHD) model that is initiated through allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. This model serves as a robust platform for screening compounds and conducting comprehensive assessments of the efficacy of molecules. To facilitate detailed analysis, we have developed a comprehensive suite of endpoint analysis tools. These tools encompass a variety of techniques, such as molecular biology and biochemical assays, as well as histological and morphological evaluations. These methodologies enable researchers to gain deep insights into the mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential of their compounds within the context of GvHD.
GvHD is a critical inflammatory complication that can arise following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), affecting up to 50% of recipients. This condition occurs when the donor's immune cells identify the recipient's tissues as foreign, initiating an immune response that results in tissue damage and inflammation. The allograft GvHD model, specifically the H2b to H2d MHC-mismatched model, is a cornerstone in preclinical research. It is instrumental in elucidating the pathophysiology of GvHD and in evaluating potential therapies aimed at mitigating this common post-transplant complication.
