  • Specification
Cat.No.
CSC-CTK0490
Description
Human 4-1BB Ligand (4-1BBL) is a member of the emerging family of Ligands with structural homology to Tumor Necrosis Factor. Recombinant human 4-1BBL is a 19.5 kDa protein consisting of 185 amino acid residues.
Species
Human
Product Overview
Human TNFSF9 expressed in E.coli
Molecular Mass
19.5 kDa
Size
CAT# CSC-CTK0490-20 (20 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0490-100 (100 μg)
Expression System
E.coli
Purity
Greater than 98% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis.
Activity
Determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of IL-8 production by human PBMC. The ED50 for this effect is less than 10 ng/ml. The specific activity is 10^5 U/mg.
Endotoxin Level
Less than 1 EU/μg.
Formulation
Sterile-filtered, white, lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Lyophilized from a 5 mM Tris/75 mM NaCl (pH 8.0) solution.
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. It should be used immediately or stored long-term in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
