ActoFactor™ Recombinant Human Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 (Insect)
- Specification
Cat.No.
CSC-CTK0519
Description
Recombinant Human flt3-Ligand (rHu flt3-Ligand) stimulates the proliferation and colony formation of certain bone marrow precursor cells including CD34+ cells. rhu flt3-Ligand is a soluble 17.6 kDa polypeptide containing 155 amino acid residues, which comprises the extracellular domain of the transmembrane flt3-Ligand protein.
Species
Human
Product Overview
Human FLT3 expressed in Sf9-insect cells
Molecular Mass
17.6 kDa
Size
CAT# CSC-CTK0519-10 (10 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0519-50 (50 μg)
Expression System
Sf9-insect cells
Purity
Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE, FPLC and RP-HPLC analysis.
Activity
Recombinant Flt3-Ligand is fully biologically active when compared to a standard. The ED50, calculated by the dose-dependant stimulation of the proliferation of human MUTZ-2cells, is < 3.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level
Less than 1 EU/μg.
Formulation
The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized with no additives.
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20 C° for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted rHu flt3-ligand-Sf9 should be used immediately or stored long-term in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. For long-term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
