ActoFactor™ Recombinant Human Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 (HEK)

  • Specification
Cat.No.
CSC-CTK0520
Description
Recombinant human flt-3 Ligand stimulates the proliferation and colony formation of certain bone marrow precursor cells including CD34+ cells. Flt-3 ligand also has a tyrosine-protein kinase activity and synergizes with other CSFs and interleukins to induce growth and differentiation. Recombinant human flt-3 Ligand produced in HEK293 cells is a glycosylated polypeptide chain and migrates as a diffuse band on SDS-PAGE due to heterogeneous glycosylation at 30 kDa.
Species
Human
Product Overview
Human FLT3 expressed in HEK293 cells
Molecular Mass
17.6 kDa
Size
CAT# CSC-CTK0520-10 (10 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0520-50 (50 μg)
Expression System
HEK293 cells
Purity
Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis.
Activity
The ED50 as determined by the dose dependent proliferation of human OCI-AML5 cells is 0.5 to 1.0 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of Greater than 1 x 10^6 units/mg.
Endotoxin Level
Less than 1 EU/μg.
Formulation
Sterile-filtered, white, lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. The protein was lyophilized from a protein solution with no additives.
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20 C° for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted protein should be used immediately or stored long-term in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
