ActoFactor™ Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 3-like 1

  • Specification
Cat.No.
CSC-CTK0460
Description
LD78-beta is a CC chemokine that is closely related to MIP-1 alpha. It signals through the CCR5 receptor and the beta-chemokine receptor, D6. LD78-beta has been shown to exhibit potent activity in HIV suppression assays. Recombinant human LD78-beta is a 7.7 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
Species
Human
Product Overview
Human CCL3L1 expressed in E.coli
Molecular Mass
7.7 kDa
Size
CAT# CSC-CTK0460-20 (20 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0460-100 (100 μg)
Expression System
E.coli
Purity
Greater than 98% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis.
Activity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 1.0- 10.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level
Less than 1 EU/μg.
Formulation
Lyophilized (freeze-dried), sterile powder. Lyophilized with no additives.
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0,1 - 1,0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstituted rHu LD78-beta should be used immediately or stored long- term in undiluted working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
