ActoFactor™ Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 27
- Specification
Cat.No.
CSC-CTK0494
Description
Recombinant Human CTACK (rHu CTACK) is a keratinocyte derived CC chemokine, which signals through the CCR10 receptor. Both CTACK and CCR10 are expressed in normal and irritated epithelial cells. CTACK selevtively attracts CLA+ T-cells and directs them into the skin. Recombinant Human CTACK is a 9.8 kDa protein containing 86 amino acid residues.
Species
Human
Product Overview
Human CCL27 expressed in E.coli
Molecular Mass
9.8 kDa
Size
CAT# CSC-CTK0494-20 (20 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0494-100 (100 μg)
Expression System
E.coli
Purity
Greater than 98% as determined by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis.
Activity
The activity of rHu CTACK was determined by its ability to chemoattract CXCR3 transfected cells. This effect was reached using a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level
Less than 1 EU/μg.
Formulation
Lyophilized protein with no additives.
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product before opening vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized rHu CTACK, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated at - 20°C. Reconstituted human CTACK should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C.
