ActoFactor™ Recombinant Human Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19

  • Specification
Cat.No.
CSC-CTK0464
Description
Recombinant Human macrophage inflammatory protein-3beta (rHu MIP-3 beta, Exodus-3, CCL19) is a member of the CC-family of chemokines and plays an important role as a chemoattractant of human T cells, B cells and myeloid progenitor cells. Creative Bioarray's Human MIP- 3 beta is an 8.8 kDa protein containing 77 amino acid residues.
Species
Human
Product Overview
Human CCL19 expressed in E.coli
Molecular Mass
8.8 kDa
Size
CAT# CSC-CTK0464-20 (20 μg); CAT# CSC-CTK0464-100 (100 μg)
Expression System
E.coli
Purity
Greater than 99% as determined by SDS-PAGE, FPLC and HPLC analysis.
Activity
Recombinant human MIP-3 beta is fully biologically active when compared to a standard. The biological activity of human MIP-3 beta was determined by a chemotaxis assay using human T cells. Significant chemotaxis was achieved using a concentration of 10.0-50.0 ng/ml.
Endotoxin Level
Less than 1 EU/μg.
Formulation
Lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) protein solution with no additives.
Reconstitution
Please centrifuge product briefly before opening the vial. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in sterile, ultra-pure water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at -20°C for future use.
Storage & Stability
The lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks, is best stored desiccated at -20°C. Reconstitued MIP-3 beta should be used immediately or stored long-term in undiluted working aliquotes at -20° C. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.
