Description
Quali3D® Basement Membrane Matrix is a solubilized extracellular matrix (ECM) extraction derived from Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) sarcoma, a murine tumor known for its production of basement membrane. The key components of Quali3D® Basement Membrane Matrix include four essential basement membrane ECM proteins: laminin, collagen IV, entactin, and heparin sulfate proteoglycan.
Quali3D® Basement Membrane Matrix undergoes gelation at 37°C, forming supramolecular networks that self-assemble into a morphologically distinguishable basement membrane. This reconstituted basement membrane closely mimics the physical properties, composition, and functional characteristics of its natural counterpart.
Quali3D® Basement Membrane Matrix is tailored for various applications, including organoid culture, stem cell maintenance and differentiation, angiogenesis, migration, invasion, and in vivo tumorigenicity studies. It offers a physiologically relevant environment for these purposes and has been proven effective in supporting the growth and differentiation of human and mouse organoids.
