Description
Immortalized Mouse CD81−/− Macrophage Cells (ASD1) is derived from the long bones of the CD81 -/- mice. The cells were immortalized with the SV40 large T antigen and underwent limiting dilution cloning. The cell line offers users the ability to conduct experiments with a reliable source of immortal cellsin vitro. The CD81 gene has associations with malignancies as it is localized within the tumor-suppressor gene region. Hence valuable for studies in regards to cancer.
