Description
agsNSC Basal Medium is a new serum-free medium optimized for the culture of Arctic Ground Squirrel Neural Stem Cells (agsNSC). agsNSC Basal Medium supports the growth of these cells in a serum-free environment over a period of at least 2 passages followed by differentiation into neurons. agsNSC Basal Medium will support the expansion of the agsNSC when supplemented with B-27 (Invitrogen) and rh FGF-basic. When supplemented with ITS-p, agsNSC Basal Medium will support differentiation of the agsNSC.
