ROS1 Break Probe

  • Specification
Cat.No.
FONC-107
Description
The receptor tyrosine kinase c-ros oncogene (ROS1) is an orphan receptor tyrosine kinase of the insulin receptor family and is located at 6q22. ROS1 consists of a large extracellular domain that is composed of six fibronectin repeats, a transmembrane domain, and an intracellular kinase domain. ROS1 rearrangement has been described to define a molecular subset of Non Small-Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The ROS1 (6q22) Break Probe is optimized to detect translocations involving the ROS1 gene region at the 6q22 locus, as well as the 240 kb deletion forming the ROS1‐GOPC fusion gene, in a dualcolor assay on formalin‐fixed paraffin‐embedded tissue samples.
