The transplantable tumor OTT-6050 arose from a 6-day-old embryo grafted into the testis of a strain 129 mouse; this solid subcutaneous tumor was minced in PBS and mice were injected intraperitoneally; ascites containing embryoid bodies developed and cell cultures were initiated from the embryoid bodies
