Description

MUC1 is a member of the mucin family and encodes a membrane bound, glycosylated phosphoprotein. The protein serves a protective function by binding to pathogen and also functions in a cell signaling capacity. Use SuperBeads® Human MUC1 Isolation Kit to isolate highly purified MUC1+ cells from fresh or previously frozen cultured human mammary epithelial cells or other dissociated tissue samples by immunomagnetic positive selection. The positively isolated Human MUC1 Cells are are labeled with antibodies and magnetic SuperBeads.
