SARS-CoV-2 Concerning Cell Lines
The recent emergence of the novel, pathogenic SARS-coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in China, and its rapid national and international spread pose a global health emergency. At the same time, scientific research on biology of the virus as well as on new diagnostic and therapeutic means is a demanding, urgent task for both academic institutions and pharmaceutical industry. During this global health emergency, Creative Bioarray is committed to supporting researchers worldwide engaged in this field.
Creative Bioarray maintains various human and animal cell lines, which is valuable for medical, scientific and pharmaceutical research associated with COVID-19. So far, numerous cell lines have been demonstrated as powerful tools for SARS-CoV-2 research. On this basis, we are capable of providing a variety of cell lines that are well-suitable for SARS-CoV-2 studies. Explore our SARS-CoV-2 concerning cell lines in the table below.

Certainly, we can provide more cell lines, which also may be of interest in the field of SARS-CoV-2 research. In addition, we can also support you in the following services:
- Analysis of cells targeted by SARS-CoV-2
We can assist you to identify which cell lines express ACE2 and/or TMPRSS2, utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing technology to large-scale analyze certain gene expressions in a given cell type; or western blot for low-throughput analysis.
- Generation of SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus infected cell lines
Creative Bioarray employs pseudoviruses of SARS-CoV-2 to infect target cell lines of novel coronavirus. Pseudoviruses do not contain viral nucleic acid but have the necessary components for cell entry and viral infection.
- Characterization of SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus infected cell lines
Following the pseudoviruses infection, FACS assays, qPCR, Cell Viability assays can be conducted in Creative Bioarray to confirm the presence of S protein of SARS-CoV-2 in the infected cells.
